Significant material damage has been caused in large numbers of vehicles as well as in some localities.
The Anadolu Agency writes that they are continuing operations on the rescue of people who took place in vehicles when water flows broke out, while significant amounts of water are collected at underpass.
The meteorological institute warns the local population that rainfall can last until evening.
Citizens have been warned to take precautions against dangers from water flows, dangers from thunder, and strong winds.
