Four extremists tried to take hostages at the Church of St. Arkandel Michael in Grozny, capital of Chechnya.
As President Chechen announced, Ramzan Cadyrov all kidnappers were killed during the Special Forces action.
“Extremists entered the church and they wanted to capture those present, the four of them were eliminated”, Cadyrov said, adding that a policeman had suffered injuries and that a citizen in the church was seriously injured, TASS reported.
