He has said this mission has failed to establish rule of law in the north.
In this interview given to the newspaper “The new era”, Gashi has said EULEX has committed no positive role, but has left Kosovo halfway by being the mother of the political class.
He has confirmed that EULEX must complete its mandate on June 14th. Gashi has estimated that the state of Kosovo, despite shortcomings, has the capacity to face any judicial challenge.
In this interview, lawyer Gashi also talked about the special court's work.
He stressed that no one but Chief Prosecutor Jack Smith knows when the first charges will arise.
