In his message, Erdogan congratulates all workers for their important role in Turkey's development and growth, reports “Hurriyet”, Periscopi broadcasts.

“We are representatives of a civilization that says “Pay the wages of a worker before the sweat dies”, he said, citing a statement of the Prophet Muhammad.

He stressed that his government has done everything within its power to enable each member of the nation to benefit from the additional “valued” created when Turkey has grown, adding that it will continue with these efforts.

“We will continue to support every sincere effort to protect the rights of our workers and continue to walk side-by-side with our working brothers and sisters”, the trick president said.

Erdogan also stressed that the government has introduced a large number of programmes to reduce unemployment, adding that Turkey can only become richer when its workers become richer.

All the workers in this country are our employees. May Day, on which we have declared it a national holiday, is also our holiday,” he said.

“We will continue to take steps to eliminate all narrowness in industrial relations by contributing to the development of civil social organisations,” he said./Periscopi/
