Two important electricity projects have been completed in Pristina region

In the village of Mazgit in Obilic, KEDS has extended the 35kV cable, which is 2,016m long. This cable replaces the old cable that has been damaged. The importance of this investment is because through this cable, 6,000 consumers are affected by substation 5/10 kV Mazzit. Consumers supplied by this connection now have more stable electricity.
Even in the neighbourhood, Matti 1 KEDS has extended the 1,510m-long 10-kV cable that has enabled the ring to be realised between Pristina's two exits. This new cable has benefited 3,500 consumers, who will now have better electricity supplies.
KED spokesman Viktor Buzhalaka said these two projects in these locations are of great importance to consumers. He said KED is committed to respond to consumer demand and improve energy infrastructure.
“Inves like this, from which thousands of consumers directly benefit are KED's priority. These two projects are of great importance both to consumers and to KEDs themselves, especially when the features that characterize them are taken into account. The Mazzit is one of the main distributive nodes for electricity, since that substation supplies a considerable portion of the population, while Matti is the fastest-growing neighbourhood in Kosovo. These are clear indications that KED, population development trends are responding to energy infrastructure development at the same time”, Victor Buzhala said.
These two projects are implemented by KED teams in Kastriot and Pristina.
KEDS continues to invest and upgrade the power grid according to the Development Plan of the Distribution Network throughout the territory of Kosovo. /Periscopi
