High Education Bill Fails to Proceed Due to Serbian List

The higher education bill, which has been withdrawn from the Assembly for more than a year with the reasoning that certain complements must be made, continues to remain in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT) by failing to proceed to Government, Koha Ditore writes today.
The same bill was withdrawn from the Assembly hearing in 2016, at the same time reasoning that some consultations on it are needed. But the truth is that the bill has failed to be prosecuted because of disagreements with the Serbian List.
Our August officials have not indicated when this bill will be prosecuted in the Assembly. Arben Dremak, adviser to Minister of Education, Science and Technology, has announced that the bill is originally expected to appear in public hearings and then proceed to Government.
