According to him, about 50 others have survived when the boat has been overthrown while traveling from Monkoto to Mbanda, writes Rtv21.tv.
Water transport is common in Congo because there are very few roads or railroads, but ships are often crowded and accidents are also frequent.
Mbanda is currently struggling with the Ebola explosion, fearing that the disease could spread from the city of a million people in the capital city of Kinshasa, through merchants who exploit the Congo River.
