May 31 is World Day without Tobacco, O BSH and other partners mark this day, raising the health issue for the dangers associated with tobacco use, as well as the reduction of policies that reduce tobacco consumption.
This day in many parts of the world spends learning and talking about this public health problem.
Paralyses disease (SKV), including strokes, is the leading cause of death in the world that kills more people than any other cause of death worldwide.
The global epidemic of tobacco kills more than 7 million people each year, of which 900 000 are those who are not smokers but exposed to tobacco.
Almost 80%, more than one billion smokers worldwide, live in low and middle - income countries.
