Dacic has said he should not allow Kosovo to become a UN member.
Security Council Resolution 1244 was adopted on June 10, 1999, following the agreement to withdraw Serbian troops from Kosovo. This resolution defines Kosovo's political status as UN protectorates, and gives Kosovo the administration of the same international organisation.
According to this resolution, the UN has the responsibility for civil administration and NATO for security in Kosovo.
Gnez, Kofi Annan, was the UN secretary general when this resolution was adopted./Periksopi/
