After the AVONET NGO network communiqué over the failure to implement the MTI decision on milk protection measures, Dogan issues this clarification with the aim of clarifying the situation, in particular for AVONET.
Kosovo Customs is awaiting the verdict under the legal procedure required with the Customs and Actis Code, or Article 9.1 of the Customs Code, where implementing the MTI's decision on import safeguard clauses is required for the decision to be made by the Government of Kosovo. That's also why Customs announced MTI before the 23rd. April and Dogan has so far rejected no decision under the legal procedures required for implementation in Bosnia's import of milk, where a 17% worth customs tax is imposed.
“Dogana is already implementing several decisions by the MTI, where we are implementing decisions regarding the provisional measure in importing the construction material from the clay, as well as the decision concerning the deployment of measures in the import of flour from the Republic of Serbia”, said in the clarification of Customs.
Customs is an institution of law enforcement, and every government decision has a legal obligation to implement, as well as any other decision in power, that requires Customs to implement and every time it has implemented them in the moment it has entered into force.
