Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Cameron Gashi, asked the beneficiaries that projects be implemented successfully for all Kosovo youth with the aim of awareness of youth in the field of education, health, environment and prevention of extremism.
I'm asking you to implement the projects, really have impact on all the young people who will be part of the implementation of these youth projects. This has been a new phase in the Ministry of Culture and we are also negotiating with the director and all the staff to restructure the youth department in the sense of distributing grants”, Gashi said.
Part of these profitable projects are also from other communities living in Kosovo, Serbian, Bosnian, Turkish, Ashkali and others.
MKRS Minister today warns a major project to build a Kosovo youth complex. Gashi said that for this project, parcels of one hectares in Gjakova have been provided in order that as many young people in Kosovo are offered conditions and infrastructure for developing youth activities.
Kosovo needs to focus a new programme, which will help young people in the Republic of Kosovo, about preparing for the labour market, to determine whose profile in the future through these youth projects. It is a big fate that in the Republic of Kosovo for the first time we will have a youth camp, a center or a multifunctional youth complex, model taken from the United States and this project has already received the green”, he said.
Minister Gashi warned that they will create a junior Fond too soon.
