According to the agency, this project is financed by the Government of Kosovo and will last until the end of 2018.
“In the project are all municipalities involved in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo. In each municipality are private veterinary practices contracted for performing services. The project envisions: dog fighting, treatment (needed medical treatments and treatments), castrination, sterilization, and in particular euthanasia in particular cases (for euthanaly, the veterinarians decide by respecting legal acts in power). All the dogs that are treated will be marked with identifying numbers that will be easily identifiable. All citizens who possess dogs ' species, which they consider to be their pets, or their domestic or farm needs, beg that, at all times, during the duration of the project, they keep an eye on them, in the opposite direction they face on the streets or other open spaces, they will be treated as wanderers”, said the Agency communique.
