Three months have passed since 27 Kosovo Parliament deputies cast their signatures into question the constitutionality of the decision to raise the salaries of senior political officials in Kosovo government.
Albulen Haxhiu, from the ranks of Vetevendosje, on behalf of the party's 27 deputies representing in January handed over the ruling, with which the provisional measure required to suspend the decision on salaries until the Court's decision.
Part of this initiative were three deputies of the LDK Parliamentary Group, Vjosa Osmani, Ilir Deda and Korab Sejdiu.
But, although the set term of 60 days has passed, the Constitutional Court has not yet made any ruling on the case, with the claim that the length of the Court's decision in the set requirements depends, not on the pre-trial, but on the complex of the case and the content of the subject as they say.
Veton Dulaj, spokesman at the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, in a written response to the newspaper “Voice”, has said that the length of the court's decision-making does not depend on the period of the preamble, but on the complex of the case.
This subject is still in the screening phase and the Court has not made a decision.
