The Kosovo Assembly last week failed to elect three Albanian judges from the Constitutional Court.
None of the six Albanian candidates managed to get enough votes to come to the position of the Constitutional Judge.
Recognitions of the justice system say this failure came as a result of deals among ruling coalition parties, writes the newspaper “Voice”.
According to them, among the judges' candidates there have been candidates who have deserved to come to the helm of the Constitutional Court, but that has not happened.
Such a practice, they say, clearly testifies that even the new judges will be policy-addicted people.
Even so, representatives of the ruling parties have denied to have political deals in such cases.
According to them, failure to elect judges has resulted from the distribution of MPs' votes, as they have expressed, the free voting system allows no one to get enough votes.
