He said China opposes session mandate for UNMIK, or changing the format in which the Security Council reportedly develops the situation in Kosovo.
While France's UN representative has said that Kosovo and Serbia should refrain from any declaration leading to tension, seeking Serbia and Kosovo's greater commitment in the process of dialogue with EU mediation.
That during the address at today's Security Council session on Kosovo said the strategy for the Western Balkans, voted on 16 February by the EU, shows European commitment to the European perspective of this region.
The French diplomat has called for greater commitment to the fight against crime and corruption, while welcoming ratification of demarcation with Montenegro.
“We have always been side by side with Kosovo. We invite Kosovo authorities to continue with the country's development and invite political subjects to create consensus on domestic issues”, it has indicated.
