The United States of America wants to strengthen partnership with Balkan countries in the fight against extremism and organised crime, US State Department Prosecutor Jeff Sessions has said.
At a meeting of law enforcement officials from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia in Zagreb, he said that co-operation has already shown good results, but that can be done even more.
“We face a serious threat from terrorism, drug smuggling and people, organised crime and corruption. Smart criminals use boundaries to hide behind them, we shouldn't allow this”, Jeff Sessions said.
We remember that even Chief State Prosecutor Alexander Lumez, at the invitation of U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is attending.
