Serbia's prime minister, Anna Brnabiq, has said her country's goal is membership in the European Union, despite Serbian Defence Minister's calls for a change of path.
Brnabiq said Monday that Minister Aleksandar Vulin is right in his opinion, but “we have our path and we know that our strategic goal is the EU”, the AP reports.
Voulin, who is known for his pro-rus stance, has said Serbia must probably change its foreign policy goals if the EU insists on resolving the dispute with Kosovo as the key condition for membership.
Serbian Defence Minister Volin said yesterday that “if the EU is important only the report to Kosovo's problem and if it determines the conditions she knows will not be met and requires justification for Serbia not to be part of it, then we should consider changing our foreign policy priorities”.
