A bank near Vatican City has been evacuated on the morning of this Wednesday, after an anonymous signal about the presence of a bomb in the building.
Numerous Roman police officers surrounded the road leading to St. Peter's Square, while the phone call is thought to have been made by a woman.
During the time of the alarm, Pope Francis gave a weekly speech in front of Christian believers, just a few yards from where the alarm was sounded.
However, the local research revealed to the media that no dangerous equipment was found.
