This was announced by the Ukrainian capital's subway operator.
“The stations are closed to travelers and auditing is being conducted”, the statement posted on Twitter said.
This announcement comes after thousands of Real Madrid and Liverpool fans gathered in Kiev for the first final of the U. EFA held in Ukraine.
The final, which will be held at the NSC Olympic Stadium, will begin at 9:45.
This game, organised by the same stadium where the Euro 2012 final was held, is a rare prestigious event for Ukraine, which is still at odds with Russian-backed separatists, and faces serious economic and corruption problems. /rel/
