The man with the abuse indictment is comfortable in the prime minister's (Dok) office.

Former director of the Prizren municipality administration, Ilir Baldedaj, could face a follow-up indictment after two days ago Mayor Mytaher Haskuka warned of violations they have found at the time he was in charge.

Periskopi learns that Ilir Baldaj is now the adviser to Besimi Tahiri, who in March of this year was appointed by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj as the national co-ordinator for State Reform.

But Baldaj, who is now part of the Government of Kosovo, will not get this first indictment, as even in November 2017, Prizren's Department of Basic Criminals had filed charges of abuse of official position or authority against him.

According to the prosecution's indictment, Baldaj is charged with exploiting his official duty or authority from August 2015 to December 2016 by misusing public wealth for other legal persons, respectively for three local televisions: TV Opinion, TV Besa and TV Prizren.

The Act charges Baldedaj that without any tender procedure, she has contracted contracts to issue advertising points regarding online applications for Prizren's municipality needs, or Public Administration Directorate.

With TV Opinion it has linked the contract for broadcasting on August 01st 2015 to July 31, 2016, worth 300 euros a month.

With TV Besa has contracted on September 01st 2015 to August 01st 2016, worth 250 euros a month.

With TV Prizren, it has contracted April 01st 2016, which will last until December 31st 2016 in the amount of 500 euros a month.

Furthermore, the prosecution's indictment claims that following the expertise carried out on the part of the relevant expert, it has resulted in the fact that on the basis of the records of the three television suppliers referred to for advertising services to online applications, the amount envisioned in contracts has been exceeded.

A total of 37 thousand 450 euros has been paid for TV Opinion for 2015-2016 for September 01st 2015 through August 01st 2016, and for Prizren TV between April 01th 2016 and December 31, 2016, a total of $9,000 and 800 euros has been paid.

On the basis of high-ranking actions, the prosecution accuses director Baldedaj of committing criminal acts of abuse of official office or authority, for which criminal offence is laid down to serve up to 5 years in prison./Periscopi/
