Thousands of people in Kosovo work in construction. And this sector has the highest risk.
Most workers are without contracts and have no minimum security conditions. But the number of inspectors monitoring employers and the conditions in which they do work is very small.
For thousands of workers, 41 inspectors are engaged.
Despite the lack of inspectors, the minister also calls on citizens to announce cases where there is no security in the workplace.
On the other hand, the chief inspector of the Labour Inspectorate says the security situation at work leaves to be desired.
Meanwhile, from the Union of Independent Unions say the government is not taking their concerns into account.
Last year, 14 people have lost their lives in the workplace, while 50 have suffered bodily injuries.
And this year six people have died, and 33 have been injured.
The last to die at the workplace is Valon Berisha.
