26 political parties in Macedonia have been cleared by the registry to benefit annual financing from the state budget.
From the Ministry of Justice stressed that this has happened after the State Minister for Review has brought a decision to ban the payment of means for parties who have not submitted a report from the registry for accepting donations have not submitted an annual account or a financial report.
The decision was signed on 25 April by outgoing Minister Bilen Saliji.
Among the parties are also those in power like the Liberal Democratic Party and the Roma Emancipation Party, while most are opposition parties. Each year 0.06 per cent of state budget stem revenues are earmarked for financing political parties. This means over 1.8m euros for 2018. More money benefits parties that have received the most votes.
