UP needs 200 more academic, not academic staff

University of Pristina Rector Marjan Dema, shortly after the opening of this competition, has asked Ministers of Education, Science and Technology ( SHOW should not intervene politically in university autonomy and enable staff elections that lack UP.

But even though this competition has been announced, according to UP's first, Rector Marjan Dema does not solve the overall threat of some UPI exit programmes because, according to him, 200 professors are needed for 13 academic units.

The reactor, stressing that they have been working to remove nepotism from this institution of higher public education, called on by Education Minister Shyqiri Bytyqi not to interfere with the academic autonomy of the UP. This statement by the Rector Dema came after Minister Bytyqi's request to honour the guidelines issued by August and the UPI regulation during the process of selecting academic personnel.

I prefer to respect UP's autonomy and help UP in possible forms, depending on the” field, Dema said.

For the academic year 2019/2020 Pristina University has planned to accept about 9,000 new students on three levels of studies: basic ones, master and doctorate.
