Washington has threatened with military action the Syrian government has used chemical weapons in the town of Douma. In 2017, US President Donald Trump was pleased with several attacks on Syrian bases with Tomahak missiles.
Russian troops are originally deployed north of Latakya City, and the rest are located in Tartus. Both countries are covered by surface missiles to long-range air, including S-400 systems located near Cometi and S-300 VM protecting Tartus, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.
