President Hashim Thaci in co-operation with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has named Shpend Maxun chief of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI) during the day.
The new AKI director, Shpend Maxun, has declared over 70 thousand euros of cash declared in banking institutions. This cash is under his possession, his wife and two children.
Maxhu owns two more cars. One car is his personal car, which he's valued at 7 thousand euros and another joint car, which he's valued at 10,000 euros.
The new AKI chief owns real estate worth 207 thousand euros. In real estate he counted two residences, one house and one land.
All these real estates he has declared by joint ownership.
He's already done three rounds. As the director general of the Kosovo Police, as a legalist at the Public Security Faculty and has been a board member at the Kosovo Academy for Public Security.
