The removal of the Serbian List from the coalition has brought the election theme back to Kosovo. In recent days, especially from the Democratic League of Kosovo, there have been growing rumours of a possible motion for the collapse of the government. But these demands are looking inconsistent to the Vetevendosje Movement.
VV MP Arbury Nagavci has told news that the LDK is not serious with the request for the government's collapse.
According to her, Isa Mustafa's party is making calculations to see the situation.
Nagavci said that if there is a concrete request, Vetevendosje will gather to make an official decision.
“The LDK is not serious in this direction, they're just calculated to see how the situation is going. Decisions regarding the Movement if we see something serious, then the leadership is collected and we put together”, Nagavci said.
While fully 12 MPs have fled Vetevendosje, the party's deputy is saying they are in a favourable position for elections.
She has mentioned recent developments, calling them prepared scenarios.
Nagavci says the government should fall because it has not worked and has not kept its promises.
“We are in a very favourable position for the elections. But the situation that has happened in recent times shows that there are many scenarios behind and this government has to fall because of its failure to keep promises, not because of these” scenarios, Nagavci said.
The last to speak of the possibility of the collapse of government has been LDK deputy Ismet Beqiri.
Beqiri during the day has told news.net that the LDK will meet to tear this whole situation apart.
“I believe the headship of the Democratic League of Kosovo will be meeting during the week. We may not decide immediately, but we will consider all options, since it is estimated that it is the best time for new elections. But without delay,” declared Beqiri.
After the Serbian List left the coalition, the Haradinaj government now has about 50 votes, and is also being named a minority government. /Warn.net/
