Vucinac pushes for three months of ultimatum for Association

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has said Serbia will have to wait another three and a half months for the establishment of the Association of Major Serb municipalities in Kosovo, but has stressed it will complain about it. Vuciq has declared for RTS will talk to the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Senior Representative Federica Moghrini, from whom he has said he expects encouraging words '%s' and has added that the main issue of talks will be Belgrade and Pristina.
“We will talk mainly about the relationship between Belgrade and Pristina, and 10 percent for other things. This relationship is our biggest obstacle on the European road”, Vuciq has said.
The Serbian president has stated that only the agreement to establish the Association of Serb-run municipalities has not been realised by the agreements reached in Brussels, while he has said there is little hope that it will be implemented.
“They have said they will draft a statute for AKS within three and a half months, and that Serbia should wait three and a half months but I tell you we won't wait, our position is clear, but very, very difficult. We have the countries that have created independent Kosovo, Americans, Britons... We have our hands tied, and our objective and our interest is to maintain security”, Vuciq declared.
