Turkish singer Suavi has been sentenced to 11 months and 20 days in prison because of his appeal to Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan, Turkish media write.
However, his sentence has been converted to pay for more than 3m euros.
67-year-old Suavi at an organised evening in the Aegean province of Izmir in 2016, said that the Erdogan and Gulen were once friends.
