President Donald Trump has warned that the United States is ready to strike Syria again if more chemical attacks are repeated.
This warning comes after the US, UK and France rocketed 3 Syrian cities in response to the alleged chemical attack on Douma about a week ago. Syria has denied use of chemical agents and says the attack was fabricated by rebels.
The wave of attacks is the largest ever against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's government by Western powers in the 7 years of civil war in Syria.
At the UN Security Council's emergency meeting on Saturday, Russia accused the West of attacks that came without waiting for the results of the alleged chemical attack investigation in Douma.
Russia said the US, United Kingdom and France were brought as hooligans, and “demonstrated disregard for international laws”.
