The trade struggle between China and the United States has never been so close, Beijing appeared uncomfortable yesterday in the face of Donald Trump's offensive, threatening to triple taxes on Chinese imports.
Hostile statements have become daily this week, as in the Pacific side and the other side, the ATSH reports.
“Kina will fight hard and decisively if the US wants to publish a new list of taxes on Chinese imports”, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman warned today.
This undermines China's vital interests and damages the common interests of the world economy even more. Facing such a situation, we must firmly fight”, he said.
On the other hand, the American president had announced that “has asked the Ministry of Commerce to consider whether an additional $100 billion customs tariff can be approved by applying Article 301 (on intellectual property) and, in this case, to identify products that could be imposed”.
These new fees are added to about $50 billion in taxes imposed on April 3rd by Washington.
