Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said dialogue with Serbia is the only way to move forward.
At Kosovo's next <x0 policy forum: Advancing reforms, regional co-operation and European integration”, Thaci has declared that the coming days and weeks will be very crucial for the consolidation of Kosovo as a state.
He has welcomed the platforms presented by Chief Parliamentary Kadri Veselin for general political consensus, as well as the government for finalising dialogue with Serbia.
I welcome the platforms being introduced by political leaders. In particular, for reaching a consensus for the final phase of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. The binding agreement is in favour of both countries. It facilitates travel towards the EU. I know dialogue with Serbia is very difficult and commitment to reconciliation as well, but this is the only way to move forward”, he has said.
Thaci has said Kosovo politics needs deep reform as he added it is certain that the second decade of Kosovo's independence will bring Kosovo's NATO membership.
