By means of a media statement, he reports that he has invited all personnel and students that the alleged cases of any harassment of any kind refer to the Ethic Code, which they have presented with a given article.
Full announcement from the Steering Council:
1. The Steering Council, being dedicated to creating a decent and respectable environment for all students and personnel, invites all parties, that alleged cases of any kind of harassment or discrimination refer to Article 8, points 3 and 4 of the Ethic Code 1/751 of 19.07. 2013.
2. The Steering Council tasks the Ethics Council that, under its responsibilities, such cases of harassment and discrimination to address with high priority according to the Ethical Council rules.
3. The Steering Council with UNDP support is under way in drafting the University of Pristina's Integrity Plan, where this problem will have particular treatment.
Pristina's “University has its rules and institutional mechanisms functional for addressing these issues. In the spirit of transparency and co-operation the University of Pristina is open to student organisations and civil society for preventing this phenomenon and creating a suitable environment for students and personnel”, the announcement concludes.
