Special Prosecutor Shows News About Oliver Ivanovic's Murder

The Special Prosecutor has been investigating Oliver Ivanovic's murder for a month. Although the investigations are still continuing, there are no suspects about the assassination of the Serbian SDP chief.

Investigations into the murder of the Serbian SDP leader, by Mitrovica's Founding Prosecutors, have been put into charge of Kosovo special prosecutors. The latter says it's in the collection phase.

For this job, Special Training has interviewed a considerable number of people.

So far a considerable number have been interviewed, all in witness quality. We are in the collection phase of evidence, we still have no suspects in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic”, said the Special Prosecutor's response to Express.

Oliver Ivanovic was killed on six bullets, Tuesday morning on January 16th, while walking to the office of his SDP party in northern Mitrovica.

Ivanovic, shortly after the war, became the Serb politician more acceptable to the Kosovo Albanians. For years, the Serb born in Decani, surprised Albanians and Serbs at the same time, until it was against him, EULEX filed the indictment for war crimes and the murder of 49 Albanians, including 20 victims of the Kovacs neighbourhood.
