Two civil society organisations have invited all persons who have experienced sexual harassment at Pristina University “Hasan Pristina” to report these cases.
The Centre for Art and Community-Artpolis and the Organisation for Quality Growth in Education (ORCA) aim to compile a list of such cases for showing up in the UPI reactor, but also to seek legal responsibility for the perpetrators of these actions, Koha Ditore writes.
The gender equality activist from the Centre for Arts and Communities-Artpolis, Life Berisha, has declared that within only two days, 10 cases of female gender have been reported, which have experienced sexual harassment at the UPP.
Most of the announced harassment says they were done by UP professors. Once they compile the list of names, Berisha says they will ask for UPP to download those who have done harassment.
But it's not just downloading, we're aiming that one of them should even be arrested and followed by legal processes under existing laws. If the University of Pristina does not take measures, then we will continue with protests demanding resignation or dismissal of the entire hierarchical chain”, it has indicated.
