Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic has said that no protocol can protect Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj from arrest if he visits Serbia.
Commenting on Haradinaj's statement that he is ready to visit Medvedja and that his visit would take place on protocol and on Serbian authorities' leave, Stefanovic has said Haradinaj belongs only to prison.
Our trials require Haradinaj for serious crimes and there are no protocols that can protect him”, Stefanovic has said.
He has stressed that Haradinaj figures even on the INTERPOL list and will never save him.
Last week the prime minister has been invited to participate in the traditional display “Homeplace Meetings 2018<18x1> in Medvedja.
Meanwhile Saturday, his adviser, Avni Arifi, has told news.net that Haradinaj will not be part of this manifestation. “has not applied nor has it planned”, Arifi said.
