Independent MP of the Kosovo Assembly Korab Sejdiu, calling the country's current government extremely harmful, has said the country should go into elections as soon as it can. Korab Sejdiu in an exclusive interview for “Zen” has said he is in front of the government's collapse “Haradinaj”, adding that consistency is needed between the country's opposition, leaving personal resentments behind in order for this Government to end.
According to Sejdiu, the current government is a grouping of clans who are working for their interests and not for Kosovo interests.
Sejdiu has also talked about the arrest of Turkish citizens, whom he considers to be one of the most harmful processes for the country, as it is a violation of human rights.
Sejdiu has also provided instructions on how the final phase of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should be carried out, which according to him would have to be completed as it is being led by non-competent people and without a mandate, such as President Thaci.
Voice: Mr. Sejdiu, reports between Kosovo and Serbia have tensed following Serbian politician Marko Djuric's arrest. How are you seeing statements by both Serbian and Kosovo heads of state regarding relations between the two states?
Sejdiu: The statements are usually coming from two sources -- one on the part of President Thaci and second on the part of Serbs by President Vuciq -- who probably have these statements except that they have more co-ordinated among themselves to feed that local population than they have any effect or content. We're talking about persons who have shown extremely morningless, especially on our side, and this is a big disaster considering what our report with Serbia matters for the future of Kosovo.
As important as it is, the question of how we decide to tackle the issue of dialogue with Serbia is, we have seen that we have a team that is done just to say that we have a team for dialogue, while on the other hand President Thaci is going to hold secret meetings and that only he knows what he talks about and what negotiates.
