Scandal in Vatican, 64 pedophile cases found in Chile

A 2300-page report documenting 64 cases of pedophile abuse by the Catholic clergy in Chile has been handed over to Pope Franzescu. The report was drafted by the head of the Congregation of Religious Doctrine at the Holy See, the British Archbishop Charles J, Scicluna.

The evidence of this file has made the sexual abuses committed against many children by their spiritual priest and guide, Chilean Fernando Karadima, who have been kept hidden by Bishop Juan Barris Madrid.

With a letter distributed by the Vatican press office, the Holy Father informs us that he has urgently called the Chilean bishops to Rome to dialogue on decisions that should be made with random assessments of distorted information that have been guided by the Chilean church to date.
