He said remittances could drop by up to 15 billion cubic metres annually, after entering the function of the “Turkish pipeline” and northern Stream 2. While he has dismissed speculations about the complete ban on remittances across Ukraine due to the political situation in that country.
Gasprom's chief warned that Russia has obligations to Ukraine and other neighbouring countries, which it will respect as a whole.
Otherwise, two-thirds of the amount of gas needed by EU member states are imported from Russia and Norway, and only one third are produced by themselves.
