Russia doesn't want a conflict.

Zakharova warned that Washington and Moscow should not have tensions over Syria escalating on the ground, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.

Asked about a possible scenario of a war between Russia and the United States, Zakharova said the two states have all the means to prevent such a confrontation with potentially devastating consequences.

“We are living in 2018 and we have all sorts of communication, including Twitter, where we can answer all questions like telephone communication, texting and I think this is the case that should be solved through communication, but not through force,” said the foreign ministry's spokeswoman.

Zakharova reiterated that Russia will protect its people if the missiles start flying towards Russian sky./Periscopi/
