Next U.S. response: If we intervene militarily, we fear the situation will get out of control

US Defence Secretary James Mattis has said Washington is still seeking evidence of who are responsible for the chemical attack that took place Saturday in Syria. Mattis says their main concern over military interventions is how it will be prevented from getting out of control. [...]
On the other hand, French President Emmanuel Macron said during the day they have evidence that Bashar Al-Assad's government is responsible for the attack, where more than 50 people died and hundreds more were injured.
International media quote official US sources, which have indicated that blood and urine samples taken from those killed in Saturday's attack show traces of chloride and other chemicals expected to be introduced to American President Donald Trump.
This cautious tone of Mattiss echoed after a Twitter publication of President Trump, who wrote that his warnings of missile attacks in Syria must go ahead.
During yesterday the US president warned Russia to prepare for missile attacks in Syria.
And during the day, he said that he has never indicated when the attacks in Syria would occur. He even made vague messages in which he wrote that maybe the attacks will happen soon or not. /Periscopi
