I want to thank everyone for the assistance and solidarity! Thank you very much.
The public prosecutor of Schleswig-Holstein's northern state announced today the immediate release after the 750,000-euro bail was paid.
Puigdemont was arrested under a European arrest warrant issued by Madrid, demanding his extradition to Spain on the charge of rebellion and misuse of public funds in connection with Catalonia's independence referendum last year.
