Ibrahim Berisha, Pristina's deputy chief prosecutor, as aired by Kosovo's “Justice show, has stated that he had not been aware that in the drug case the prosecutor, Arbreden Shala CHA, had been involved with special prosecutor Hakki Gecaj's son.
Berisha, in the interview given to the Commission “Justice in Kosovo”, has argued the prosecutor's move by saying the case has been of small importance.
The case's “Procuror has analysed all the circumstances, Abren Shala is on this case and given the defendant's personality, where for the first time he is opposed to the law, has been called under several circumstances, and on this basis he has even dropped criminal speculation, counting that this has been of little importance”, chief prosecutor Ibrahim Berisha has declared.
According to him, all citizens are equal before the law and that they are not called to names. However, despite the request of “Justice in Kosovo” that have done the same as in the case of their colleague's son, it has not been able to provide data showing that they have done the same.
“The amount was too small, paragraph 2 This article's. I The KKP can see that the sentences could be more fine, or in jail for up to a year. Thus, alternative procedures have been used in such cases. People have been dealing with drugs, it's true, but even earlier I said it's of little importance and they're users, they're not sales and distributors, and on this basis the prosecutor is autonomous in this case, it's independent and it's put that into the mind of”, Berisha stated.
Berisha also indicated when he is rejected.
Unless the prescription has reached, the relative prescription can also not be taken further, because the decidial law determines, when the work is submitted, then the investigation can be fired if they have begun, or criminal prelaunch” can be dropped, Deputy Prosecutor Ibrahim Berisha has said.
As the investigation of “Justice in Kosovo”, Valdrin Gecaj, the special prosecutor's son, Hakki Gecaj, had been involved with drugs by Kosovo police and the same one had accepted it before police and prosecutor Arberen Shala-Raqa.
Despite the fact that the same man and his friend had admitted they were involved with drugs, the prosecutor had assessed that the case is of minor importance and had closed the case by rejecting the criminal outcry exercised by Kosovo police.
