The director of culture in the Pristina municipality, through a report on his Facebook profile, has said Pristina will within this year be done with the museum that will bear the name of renowned artist Ibrahim Kodra.
“It is a pleasure that today on the 100th anniversary of the birth of art master Ibrahim Kodra, I can announce on behalf of the Pristina municipality that within the year we will have the Ibrahim Kodra Museum in Pristina”, Rugova wrote.
“Brenda weeks we sign the agreement to launch works of the Ibrahim Kodra Museum in Pristina. We have already agreed with the plan even with the Kodra Foundation in Lugano, for carrying their collection to permanent display in Pristina”, he said.
Ibrahim Kodra (1918-2006) is among the best - known Albanian painters of the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Cubist and post-cubist who has also been exposed to Picasso in Paris.
