Six people dead in an attack in Afghanistan

Six people have lost their lives in a car bomb attack in the southern province of Helmand, Afghanistan.

Taliban spokesman Zubiullah Mujahed took responsibility for the attack through a post on social networks.

Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghan has reiterated his call for peace to the Taliban.

Not every Taliban wants to fight. This war is imposed on them by a minority. If you are Afghans and Muslims, accept peace”, he said during a event held in the capital, Kabul.

The Helmand province, located south of the Taliban's homeland, Kandahar, remains one of the most uncertain provinces where militants control large parts of territories, despite Afghan forces recently restored control of a portion of them.
