A Palestinian journalist has died from injuries suffered during protests at the border between Gaza and Israel's Belt, health officials in Gaza have announced.
Yaser Murtaya, 30, who worked as a cameraman for the Gaza-based agency Ain Media, was injured during the clashes April 6th. Then he passed away from his wounds.
The plague is among nine Palestinians killed during violent protests, writes the REL.
In published photos, you see journalist Murtaya, who stays injured in a stretcher, and in his vest he has written “Press”.
The Israeli Army spokesman has not commented, saying the army is investigating this incident.
Palestinians are protesting along the border of Gaza and Israel and are seeking to return to lands already belonging to the Israeli state.
