This has become known today, in Brdo, Slovenia, where the summit of Southeast European Co-operation Process countries started in Berlin, where Kosovo is part of 2014.
Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli praised positive developments in the region in the past period, isolating the Commission's invitation to open negotiations for Albania and Macedonia and the Enlargement Strategy, which envisions Kosovo's secure membership as a full-fledged state.
He thanked the countries of the Process, which agreed to pass the leadership staff of Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, pledging that Kosovo will carry out its presidency the same as its predecessors, even better than those.
Pacolli praised the two leaders of the Regional Co-operation Centre, which in the next six years will be Albania's Majlinda Bregu and Montenegro's Igor Luksic.
Minister Pacolli guaranteed his counterparts that Kosovo remains committed to regional co-operation, normalisation of relations with Serbia according to known definitions.
During his speech, he also focused on the concept of Digital Liaison, as of fundamental importance to our countries and the entire region, to enable sustainable economic development, social development, good governance, to advance education and science, and many other sectors.
Remaining on this topic, Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli said Kosovo has developed and is still working on further progress in policies and infrastructure for Information and Technology, and already has a very good trend in this area.
The summit continues with other meetings at ministerial levels, closing with the SEECP countries' prime ministers' meeting.
