LDK MP Vjosa Osmani, at the extraordinary session of the Parliament has criticised the European Union, for which she has said she accuses Government of captured states, crime and corruption, and on the other hand with the same people meets and talks, calling for reforms.
But if it's a message, that we've actually heard from Kosovo political leaders and the charge reporting to the EU that it's treating us equally, that there are double standards. But if it is a message that the EU would have to go through today, it is that they cannot on one side accuse the government of being a captured, corrupt and corruption-related state. And on the other side after two weeks to meet with the leaders of that same government and ask for reforms from them. And say they are encouraged with commitment to reforms by the same people, whom the EU itself is accusing of being captured, crime and corruption. So this is the message that I have to go to the EU today and this only double standard actually”, she said.
Osmani had criticism and at the address of Prime Minister Hardinaj, who said he handed over to President Thaci, the document or the platform for dialogue with Serbia, leaving the country's future in the hands of one person.
A process that vital is delivered to Hashim Thaci's hands, and why do you do that? It is because the last weapon of immunity Hashim Thaci has left is dialogue, there is no other. That's all he has left. His only way to factor in front of the international community, when it has been thoroughly defictorized and in his party. It is the duty of this Parliament to lift this last immunity that Hashim Thaci has left and say no to that platform, which is not the platform, which will protect Kosovo's interests, but will protect the interests of only one individual”, she said.
The extraordinary session for the Progress Report is still continuing with discussions by MPs.
