Opposition Expects Government Breakdown

The two opposition leaders in the Kosovo Assembly, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the <x0-> Movement Vevendosje” have already indicated ready to go to early elections.

Both have warned that the signing of signatures to initiate the motion to oust Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's government during the week will begin

The Democratic League of Kosovo this week could officially start collecting signatures to initiate the motion for the government's collapse.

Thus have LDK representatives declared for “Zrin”, who have said that many things will be crystallized within this week as far as the government's collapse initiative is concerned.

The government's motion and collapse of yesterday has already been declared leader of movement “Vetevendosje” Albin Kurti.

“The LVV is for early parliamentary elections as well as for the motion to oust Government”, Kurti has declared.

LDK representatives have indicated they are still waiting for political parties to declare whether to set a common date for early elections.

If no such thing happens, according to LDK officials, this subject will act unilaterally.

Political analysts, however, remain sceptical whether this initiative will be effective, as GDP and Serbian List votes are also needed to come about.
