The Asian national has decided to change the coach on the eve of the World. Vahid Halilhodzic is no longer Japan's coach.
When only two months left since the World's beginning in Russia, leaders of the Japanese federation decided to stop working with 65-year-olds.
This decision resulted in two poor results in friendly challenges, equalling 1:1 with Mali, and loss of 2:1 to Ukraine, both teams that have not qualified in the world.
The Bosniak sat on Japan's bench in March 2015 after leading Algeria to the World Brazil's 1/8th.
Japan, at the group stage in the World of Russia, will face Colombia, Senegal and Poland.
Meanwhile, only a few hours ago the Bosnian replacement, which will be Akira Nisino, was also formalised.
