LDK deputy Lumir Abdixhiku has said that Kosovo must clear the lists of Kosovo Liberation Army veterans, as a group of veterans who protested before the government today has requested.
In a Facebook post, Abdixhiku said that because of these frauds, more than 50,000 veterans who cost the state 100m euros a year have been registered in Kosovo today.
On the other hand, the MP has said that Kosovo practically gives more money to veterans who have actually not been to the KLA at all than to the army that wants to create it.
Below was Obadiah's complete post.
Today, some KLA soldiers have protested and demanded full access to the fake veterans' lists. The same must be supported by all. This battle is just them. It's the whole society.
By the time I had raised this subject in Parliament months earlier, I was attacked by captainors with gasping laborers as traitors of hate KLA; I was just looking for list cleaning. Today, her own soldiers, those who truly love the good of the KLA's heritage, ask themselves for such a thing. What do they have to say to those now?
As a matter of fact, because of the counterfeiting of the lists, due to the sale of certificates, for all publicly made and accepted manipulations, Kosovo today has over 50,000 veterans. These counterfeiters generate a budgetary cost of 100m euros annually per year. We practically give twice as much to false veterans as we give to the military.
With the counterfeiters gone, we not only merit the fighters for real but also double our contributions to the same. Today they take nothing but charity. They receive gifts because they were listed with others who were only three years old during the war.
